Four promotions, two relegations and over 400 games featuring more than 1,200 goals – few teams packed quite as much into the past decade as Norwich City.

There have been highs and lows along the way but it's rarely been dull, with some of the key cast members ensuring they will be remembered in these parts for many years to come.

There are still three games to play before the decade comes to its conclusion, with Daniel Farke and his team working towards a positive start to 2020, in the hope of kicking off the next decade with the success of securing Premier League status in spite of their financial inferiority.

We've been crunching the numbers and the Canaries have won 40 percent of their 422 league matches since the start of 2010, when Paul Lambert was leading the charge towards the League One title.

The players who featured most in the dramas of the decade will come as little surprise, with Russell Martin (309 appearances in all competitions), Wes Hoolahan (293) and John Ruddy (243) the top three, with current player Alex Tettey (220) not far behind having been with the club since 2012.

Martin, who captained City's play-off final success at Wembley in 2015, even comes close to featuring in the top scorers list for the decade having registered 17 goals despite playing at right-back and centre-back.

It's no surprise that Grant Holt leads the way on the goal front, with 58 of his 78 total for the Canaries coming during this decade - after a rapid first half of 2009-10 which featured 20 goals.

That's ahead of Cameron Jerome (42), whose goals played a vital role in the promotion of 2015, the legendary figure of Hoolahan (39) and the decade's late surge from a prolific Finn by the name of Teemu Pukki (also 39).

While league campaigns have provided plenty of excitement along the way, the less said about the cup competitions, the better.

During the last 10 years City have made it beyond the third round of the FA Cup just twice, reaching round five in 2012 only to lose 2-1 at home to Leicester when the Foxes were in the Championship and Norwich were in the top flight.

The League Cup has been slightly better and brought some fun, reaching the fourth round on six separate occasions, but the 2013 quarter-final was the closest the Canaries got to another cup final, slumping to a 4-1 defeat to Aston Villa at Carrow Road - when Lambert returned with a vengeance.

While City fans will hope that a cup run will feature at some point in the next 10 years, most will appreciate that a steady spell of Premier League stability is the key to finding success in the long term, if their club is to achieve the financial strength needed to compete on the billionaires' playground.
