Norwich City Under-18s booked a place in the FA Youth Cup quarter-finals with a 4-3 win over Newcastle after extra-time at Carrow Road this evening – and we were there to bring you full updates.
The Canaries reached the fifth round with two victories at their home stadium, coming from behind thanks to four goals in 10 minutes to beat Barnsley 4-1 in the third round.
David Wright's squad then had to come from behind twice to beat Derby County 4-2 in the last round, teeing up another home tie in the last 16.
Newcastle – managed by Canaries legend Dave Watson – won 5-0 at Brighton and then 3-2 at Crystal Palace in extra-time to earn another away tie.
The Canaries have another home tie in the quarter-finals, against either Bury or Birmingham, with a potential semi-final tie against Fulham, Tottenham or Chelsea.
