Norwich City reserves end their participation in the league set-up tonight when they travel to Maldon to face Colchester United (7pm). City's second string will finish third in the Totesport Combination East Division - four points behind Ipswich - no matter what the outcome in Essex. Paul Lambert has decided to pull the team out of the league, with City reverting to organising their own friendly matches. The club has already moved reserve team matches away from Carrow Road to the Colney training centre.
