City have confirmed the club's first Premier League home game of the new season against Stoke will kick off at 1.30pm on Sunday, August 21.

City were forced to move the game from the previous day due to Stoke's progress in the Europa League qualifying stages. The Potters overcame Hajduk Split 2-0 on aggregate to secure a two-legged play-off tie against Swiss side FC Thun. Tony Pulis' side travel to Switzerland on August 18 with the return the following week.

Meanwhile tickets are now on sale for the club's opening Premier League reserve fixture against Blackburn at Carrow Road next Tuesday (7pm).

The Jarrold Stand will be open with tickets priced at �3 per person. There are no concession prices and no free entry for season ticket holders.

City will play the likes of Arsenal, Aston Villa and Chelsea in the Premier Reserve League South on a home and away basis with a one-off game against the sides in the Reserve League North which features the likes of Man United, Liverpool and Everton.
