Former Norwich City footballer Darren Huckerby greeted fans at a Norwich department store today.
Huckerby was at the book department in Jarrold where he signed copies of his autobiography Hucks: Through Adversity to Great Heights.
His visit to Jarrold was one of many appearances he has done across Norfolk to promote his book and he said he was delighted with the response from fans.
'It has been amazing. We have been going all over Norfolk and the response has been amazing. I have been at places where you could not get any more people in the shop,' he said.
'I hope people enjoy the book. They will perhaps see another side to me than what people see just by watching the game. It is a balanced and fair view of the last 16 years.'
So far Huckerby's book has sold more than 11,000 copies. During his visit to Jarrold on Saturday the store saw its 1,000th copy being sold.
Huckerby played for Norwich between 2003 and 2008, making 203 appearances in that time and scoring 48 goals.
