Norwich City Under-18s will face Oldham Athletic or Macclesfield Town in the FA Youth Cup Third Round Proper.

The draw took place on Wembley Stadium on Friday, with City being handed a home fixture against the winner of Oldham and Macclesfield - who play on November 23.

All third round fixtures must be played by Saturday, December 17, with the match set to take place at Carrow Road.

Academy Manager Ricky Martin said: 'The FA Youth Cup is really important for Under18s football, and certainly for the second years. They know it's their last season playing in the Youth Cup so it's really special.

'It's lovely to be at home, to either Oldham or Macclesfield. We wouldn't want to have to travel all that way to their stadiums, so it's lovely to be at Carrow Road, and it will be an interesting game.

'Whoever wins that game [Oldham v Macclesfield], they'll have played two or three games already just to get to the stage we're joining at.

'We've had to come in at the third round, so whoever wins it will be coming in with a bit of momentum, so we'll have to be aware of that, and we'll be doing all our homework to find out a little bit about the winners.

'We'll prepare properly as we would do for any Youth Cup game, and give our lads to opportunity to progress, and that's all we're looking to do.'
