Norwich City chief scout Ewan Chester will leave Carrow Road at the end of August, the club has confirmed.
Chester – linked with Chelsea last weekend – is 'looking to pursue another scouting position involving international recruitment' according to the Canaries' official website.
Chester joined City in May 2010 from Glasgow Rangers having enjoyed great success at Ibrox, including 35 domestic honours. He also spent two seasons at Fulham between up to 2007.
The club statement continued: 'Ewan has helped to head up a revamped Norwich City scouting network and has agreed to stay until the end of August to assist the club's scouting operation during the summer transfer window.
'We will be making an announcement about a new chief scout in due course.'
