Match-winner Charlie Adam wants Stoke to finish off their difficult Premier League season with a flourish after making it back-to-back wins on Saturday.

From looking in serious trouble of being sucked into the relegation scrap, the Potters have now reached 40 points with three games to spare.

'After the Aston Villa game (a 3-1 home defeat) it wasn't looking too good, but when you've got good players in your squad and good characters, you know it's going to be tough but we have dug in there,' said the Scot.

'When you go to somewhere like QPR, who are struggling and need a win, we managed to get the goal just before half-time last week. And then this week we managed to get the goal just after half-time.

'Norwich will probably think they're safe and I think that was the way they came here to play. But we're just delighted to get the points and hopefully we can get maximum points over the next three games because it would be nice to finish it off in style.'
