The celebrations have continued for famous Norwich City fans on Twitter following the club's promotion to the Premier League, while one of the Canaries own players has voiced his joy via the website as well.

On-loan Liverpool starlet Dani Pacheco, an unused substitute for the momentous 1-0 win at Portsmouth, said: 'Thanks Norwich City for letting me come here and enjoy that amazing experience, thank you!'

Television presenter Jake Humphrey is a big Canaries fan and was one of the first to have his say on the social networking website.

First he tweeted: 'Whoever you support, to go from League One to the Premier league in two seasons playing good football, you will agree that is a HUGE achievement.'

He then added: 'A reminder. August 2009 we lost 7-1 to Colchester. For the first time I can tweet 'Norwich are in the Premier league'. Off to have a cry.'

His fellow formula one City supporter Mike Gascoyne, chief technical officer of Norfolk's Team Lotus, said: 'Paul lambert, what a manager, massive respect. Well done to the whole team.'

Cricket commentator Henry 'Blowers' Blofield, originally from Hoveton, said: 'Wonderful to wake up, open the papers and find it's true and not just a heavenly dream. The Canaries are back in the PREMIERSHIP. Yippee!!!'

Former City winger Darren Eadie simply said: 'Absolutely crazy!! Premier league here we come!!'

Sky Sports News presenter Simon Thomas posted on Twitter: 'Well as predicted I didn't sleep much and it wasn't a dream, NCFC are back in the Premier League.'

His Sky Sports colleague Chris Kamara, who is not a Norwich fan, said: 'Well done to Paul Lambert and his team, an outstanding season.'

While Daily Telegraph football writer Henry Winter, also not thought to be a City fan, said: 'Well done NCFC. Let's be 'aving you in the Premier League. Congrats to Delia, Michael, Paul, players, fans, all at NCFC. Great achievement.'
