Norwich City Under-23s complete their Premier League Two campaign at Carrow Road this evening, as they build up to an important semi-final.
The young Canaries are already consigned to finishing bottom of Division Two after a poor league campaign, four points adrift after losing 13 of their 21 matches.
However, it is the cup competitions where City's development squad have enjoyed success, reaching the Premier League International Cup semi-finals and the knockout stages of the Checkatrade Trophy.
They host Brighton tonight (7pm kick-off) ahead of a Premier League Cup semi-final against Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Sunday (1pm), with Swansea or Portsmouth to be faced in the final.
The Seagulls are safely in mid-table in eighth place and were held to a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture when Sergi Canos – since sold to Brentford – equalised for City.
