Daniel Farke revealed Norwich City are monitoring a hip problem for Marco Stiepermann ahead of Tuesday's Carabao Cup trip to Wycombe.
Stiepermann is expected to travel, although the head coach hinted at Colney on Monday lunchtime he will ring the changes again for the third round tie after picking up three consecutive Championship wins.
Ben Marshall (virus) only returned to training on Monday and is not under consideration but Ivo Pinto made a successful return to action last week on development duty.
'Ben, sadly, it is the first day the doctor allowed him to be part of team training,' said Farke. 'He has done some work on his own the last two days but he has lost some weight through not being able to eat. For that, we have to be a bit careful. Quite obviously he won't be on the coach to Wycombe because he was out for nine days. He should be available for the weekend.
'With Ivo, it was important he got some minutes. He had a difficult pre-season and then another injury two or three games into the new season. He wanted to play the other day. He is an experienced player and knows what is best for his body.
'He played 75 minutes and it was all okay. A bit tired. I must make a late decision in training later (on Monday). We won't make too many changes to the squad who travelled to QPR.'
Nelson Oliveira also featured against Newcastle United's Under-23s at Colney on Friday in his first appearance of the season for the club, but the wantaway striker is not in Farke's cup plans for the tie at the League One newcomers.
'Nothing has changed,' said Farke. 'The same as Ivo. He asked to play because he had not been involved. He did well but nothing has changed.'
Farke also provided fitness updates on Kenny McLean (ankle) and Onel Hernandez (hernia op)
'The operation was successful for Onel,' said Farke. 'Everything is okay. Three days ago he was already on the bike and on Sunday some running stuff. Now we can do a bit more each day. There is a small chance he can be back before the international break and he was crucial for us in the early weeks.
'We are struggling a bit with injuries so some good news.
'Kenny McLean, sadly, it lasts longer than we all expected. It is nearly six weeks and he is still only doing individual stuff. At the weekend we gave him a little break from rehab. He had two days off, another injection, and hopefully he can come back soon.'
