Norwich City have confirmed that supporters will be allowed to attend their home match with Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday - but they’ll have to watch the game on a screen in a lounge.

The club have confirmed they intend to hold live screenings of four upcoming Canaries fixtures - starting with the visit of the Chairboys on Saturday.

City held a similar event last weekend, as 200 supporters watched from the Top of the Terrace and the Gunn Club as Daniel Farke’s side claimed a late 2-1 victory courtesy of a Jordan Hugill penalty in stoppage time.

However, due to the Top of the Terrace lounge overlooking the pitch - Saturday’s screening will take place in the Gunn Club due to current restrictions preventing supporters from watching games inside stadia.

Next week’s midweek clash with Brentford will also be shown - with supporters able to purchase their tickets from the club’s official website.

Two games in November will also be broadcast from the lounges, including City’s home match against Millwall and their trip to the north east to face Neil Warnock’s Middlesbrough.

The #LetFansIn petition that has currently been signed by over 197,000 people is set to be debated in parliament next month - but culture secretary Oliver Dowden has expressed concern surrounding how supporters would travel to stadia as being one of the prime reasons for keeping grounds closed.

The Canaries held a successful pilot event in their 2-2 draw with Preston North End last month - with 1,000 supporters returning to Carrow Road for the first time since City beat Leicester City 1-0 on February 28.

All fans will also be asked to adhere to the supporter code of conduct before confirming their attendance at the event.

Everyone in attendance will be subject to a non-invasive temperature check, their details will be collected for Track and Trace and one way systems will be in operation.

The rule of six will also have to adhered to - with supporters unable to book a table containing more people due to the current nationwide coronavirus restrictions.

The club have said that face masks will have to be worn around the venue - but can be taken off once supporters are seated.
