Daniel Farke is not suffering sleepless nights over who spearheads Norwich City's attack.

Jordan Rhodes responded to Teemu Pukki's goalscoring burst in the Championship by notching a hat-trick in the midweek 4-3 League Cup win at Wycombe.

More than 2,500 took part in a Pinkun online poll, with 50pc wanting Pukki to return to the line-up for Wigan's league visit on Saturday, although 47pc also urged Farke to unleash the duo together on the Latics.

'I spoke with them both at the start of the season and I was pretty honest,' said Farke. 'We have competition of course in this position. That is professional football. They can't be involved each and every minute.

'We don't play a season with 11 lads. No striker can deliver for 50 odd games.

'I don't know what I will do at the weekend but whatever I do I know someone like Jordan will 100pc support us.

'If he has to play 90 minutes or wait for the next game there will be no problem. Pukki is also on fire and labelled as the best striker in the Championship.

'It is nice when my strikers are there with these performances.

'It is not the time to praise just one lad. Jordan has been outstanding because it has been tough to leave him out.'

Farke has already seen enough of Rhodes in a Norwich shirt to know he can flourish during a season-long loan spell away from Sheffield Wednesday.

'His reaction after being left out (against Middlesbrough) was so good. He told me he enjoys it so much to play in this yellow shirt and with these lads,' said Farke. 'In terms of his quality on this level he has an unbelievable instinct inside the box.

'The second thing is his attitude. He is highly motivated to score and focused on doing so but not in a selfish way, more like he wants to help the team and work for the team. That is crucial.

'When you have those together you deserve all the luck and it is then up to the team to prepare as many situations as we can to bring him closer to the opponent's goal.

'Jordan doesn't need any more motivation. He is a big character. Maybe in the last few years he was struggling to play and be involved. For that reason, I think Norwich is the perfect place for him.

'He has a team and a coach and fans who love him. Our style of play suits him a lot.'
