Timm Klose and captain Ivo are available after City's postponed weekend trip to Barnsley allowed the duo time to step up their recovery from hamstring and knee injuries respectively.

Pinto was in Portugal last week for the birth of his child but trained with the rest of his team mates on Sunday at Colney. Klose sat out the previous home draw against Bolton but will be available.

Christoph Zimmermann, however, is poised to miss out for personal reasons.

'Christoph is a doubt due to a private situation he's had,' said Farke. 'He wasn't with us for a few days but trained with us today, and he's been ok so far so we will make a decision on him tomorrow, but it might be tricky for him to start.

'Timm Klose has been training with us and is available. Not having the game against Barnsley on Saturday has helped his recovery, so that's a plus of not being able to play.

'Ivo trained on Saturday and Sunday, and now he feels 100pc comfortable and he's in a great mood because of the birth of his child. He'll need some time to get back into his rhythm but he looks much better than he did before the break.

'We have four games in 11 days so it's good to have him back, especially in this period. He's not yet ready to play all 90 minutes in all of those games, but he will have some minutes. Harrison Reed has been good in that role, so I have no concerns.'

Matt Jarvis will step up his recovery from knee and ankle injuries in Wednesday's scheduled development home game against Fulham.

'If everything's okay he will train with the Under-23s in the next two days,' said Farke. 'Then the plan is to give him several minutes on the pitch for the Under-23s on Wednesday. It's important for him to return in a game.

'We'll decide how long he'll get, and we're doing everything to prepare him properly to get him closer to the first-team squad.'

Marco Stiepermann will be out for the next few weeks following a hernia operation.

Tom Trybull (knee/ankle) and Louis Thompson (Achilles) remain longer term absentees.

'He's (Tom) is desperate to return, but if everything works out ok we'll have him for the last four or five games of the season,' said Farke. 'There's been no problems with the rehab and he's been doing individual stuff and the sports scientists are happy with his progress.

'It would be brilliant to have him back earlier, but we want to make sure he's fully recovered in the best way.'
