Moritz Leitner can be Norwich City's derby hero.
The former Borussia Dortmund double winner has become an instant fans’ favourite at Carrow Road after a couple of influential cameos since a loan move from FC Augsburg.
Leitner is poised for a derby debut in Sunday’s latest Championship clash against Ipswich Town, but Daniel Farke is keen not to hype his compatriot.
“I don’t want to put the pressure on him and say we expect a world class performance every week but he has potential to be a very, very important player for us,” said Farke.
“He will get all our trust and if he can find his rhythm we believe he can have a big role for us.
“Normally because he is technically full of ability he played a lot in the 10 role, recently often in the eight but also he can play in the six.
“If you compare with Alex Tettey he wouldn’t play that role in the same way with a defensive mindset but he can build up the play with smart passes and if the opponent presses he can keep the ball. He is not nervous.”

Leitner struggled to kick on after a meteoric rise in his teens.
“Dortmund signed him under (Jurgen) Klopp and at 21 he was very much involved.
“He won the German title and cup and made six or seven appearances in the Champions League,” said Farke.
“Then he had two or three difficult years.
“There was a lot of competition in the number 10 position with Mario Goetze and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, not two bad players and difficult to get minutes ahead of them.
“Then in the more deeper midfield positions you are talking about lads like Ilkay Gundogan, not so easy.
“For that he had a decision to move to Lazio for half a season, came back and ended up at a club that maybe is not the best style for him.
“We felt he could be the perfect fit.”
