Leyton Orient have signed Norwich City midfielder Ebou Adams until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old recently returned from a loan spell at League One club Shrewsbury Town, where he made his Football League debut but made just eight appearances in five months.

Signed from National League South side Dartford in January 2016, the box-to-box midfielder performed well for City's under-23s last season, scoring six goals in 26 games to see the one-year option in his contract activated.

He now returns to the top tier of non-league, where he also previously had a three-game spell with Braintree in December 2016, with the O's.

Although Orient are sixth from bottom in the National League, they have won four and drawn two of their eight games since former Gillingham boss Justin Edinburgh was appointed at the end of November.

Speaking to Orient's Youtube channel, Adams said: 'It's a great club, it's a good chance for me to come here to a big club and to express myself and see what I can do, and hopefully push the team into a better position than they are right now.'

The Canaries youngster could make his debut in the FA Trophy away to Bognor Regis Town on Saturday.
