Canaries' on-loan keeper Remi Matthews is in no doubt he can be Norwich City's main man next season.
The Norfolk-bred stopper has impressed at Plymouth, since returning on-loan to the Pilgrims, keeping nine clean sheets in 24 games for Derek Adams' side who are bang in the race for promotion from League One.
With Angus Gunn set to return to Manchester City at the end of the current campaign, Matthews knows there could be a vacancy at Carrow Road.
'Obviously, at the end of the season I will sit down with certain people and we will talk about the plan for next season,' he said.
'Again next season, all I want to do – wherever it is – is to play games.
'I'm 24 now and I just need to keep playing games at as high a standard as possible.
'There are one or two people out there who I have seen down the line who would quite happily sit down on the bench all their career.
'People make a career from it, fair play, but I want to play games. There is nothing worse than sitting on a bench on a Saturday.

'That's key for me, just playing as many games as possible.
'If next season it means going elsewhere then that's what I might have to do, but my aim is to go back to my parent club and potentially be fighting for the number one shirt.'
Matthews, speaking to the Plymouth Herald, is fully focused on Argyle's play-off push, ahead of Southend's Good Friday visit.
'I'm here, I'm a Plymouth player and all I want to do is play for Plymouth at the moment,' he said.
'Every loan I have been on I have enjoyed it but I think this one has been the most positive for me.
'Don't get me wrong, I feel I did well in Scotland last season (at Hamilton) and we stayed in the league, which was the main thing.

'But most of the teams I have been at we have been fighting against relegation, which we were doing here (at Argyle).
'This has definitely been a kick-on season for me. Just to get 20-plus games in the space of four or five months is massive.
'I'm hoping that will make a difference for potentially next season, wherever it may be.
'That was my plan. I wanted to come here and play games and, ideally, go back and fight for the number one spot at Norwich.
'But we all know how football works and how things change. I have just got to keep myself ready and see what happens.'
