Jordan Rhodes, Grant Hanley, Dennis Srbeny and Tom Trybull are being monitored ahead of Norwich City's Championship derby trip to Ipswich Town.

Srbeny and Trybull came out of the midweek League Cup win at Cardiff with knee issues, which captain Hanley is nursing a quad problem and Rhodes picked up a knock in training.

Head coach Daniel Farke delivered a cautiously optimistic bulletin at Colney on Friday, but made it clear he will not risk any of his frontline troops carrying injuries at Portman Road.

'I would say no big concerns. We have some slight injuries,' said Farke. 'Dennis has some problems with a swollen knee. He doesn't feel 100pc comfortable and he had a lot of load in the Cardiff game. At least he was able to do nearly all of the load in training (on Friday). Grant has a tight quad but trained as week. Now we wait for the reaction to see if it develops overnight. We have our last training session on Saturday.

'Jordan also had a swollen knee earlier in the week but again returned to training today. Tom, again, the knee. We have three or four questions marks and we won't start with all the lads with slight problems. I expect a pretty physical game.

'They are not big injuries where I say we have to do without these lads.'

Kenny McLean is definitely ruled out until after the international break with ankle ligament damage. Mario Vrancic is back in training but not under consideration for the derby.
