Ben Godfrey will remain with League One promotion hopefuls Shrewsbury Town for the rest of the season.
The Canaries confirmed on Wednesday afternoon they had agreed to extend the 19-year-old's stay in Shropshire, when his initial short term loan deal runs out at the start of next month,
Godrey will now remain with the Shrews until May 31, where he has already made 24 appearances to help Paul Hurst's squad firmly into the hunt for promotion to the Championship.
City head coach Daniel Farke admitted recently he was keen for Godfrey to stay with the Shrews, where his eye-catching displays in central midfield had seen him reportedly touted with Premier League transfer interest.
Godfrey signed a new four year deal at Carrow Road in August and has so far made six senior appearances for his parent club.
