Tinkerman is not a label that sits easily with Daniel Farke, but Norwich City's injury problems limit his scope to shuffle the pack at QPR.
Farke was heavily criticised over the festive period for the scale of his changes to cope with a congested spell of fixtures.
There will be no repeat at Loftus Road, with the Canaries' head coach confirming it will be the same pool of players available that lost 2-0 to Fulham.
'I am not a big believer in rotating a lot of players,' he said.
'I don't think it is healthy to make eight or nine changes, but when you play such a good team like Fulham, where you have to run a lot, it can be exhausting. It is important to have some fresh legs in the next game.
'My hands are a little bit tied, because many important players are injured for us, but I trust these lads, I trust the group and there will be two or three changes. But we will be strong and able to fight for points at QPR.
'No chance for Onel (Hernandez), or Moritz (Leitner). We have some hope for the Villa game. Too soon for Tom Trybull. Marco Stiepermann will return back to team training on Tuesday.
'Hopefully Grant will be fit.'

'No, our plan was to play in a four-man formation so we didn't have to change that,' he said.
'We are flexible in this area of the pitch.
'Sometimes it is about the opponent and their strengths, sometimes it is about having three players available whoNorwi are comfortable in that system.
'Okay, it is always good to have Grant available but maybe it allowed him to be more rested for Monday.
'I hope everything will be fine again with his head. He has had this problem for a period of time, where he has to fight with a migraine maybe for two or three days.'
Jamal Lewis impressed in a flat back four, fresh from making his international debut for Northern Ireland.
'He took a high level of responsibility on his shoulders,' said Farke.
'He played against a strong opponent. Normally down the right with (Ryan) Fredericks they are able to create many chances.
'They did have one situation down that flank that led to the second goal but it was not the mistake of Jamal.'
