Daniel Farke predicts Norwich City's squad will come to the boil just in time to inflict more pain on Ipswich Town.
Farke was keen to ration the excitement, and the sense of anticipation, ahead of Sunday's Carrow Road high noon duel but the Canaries' head coach admits the vibes feel good.
'We can't be too over-confident or lose the ground under our feet,' he said.
'You can feel after the last game at Derby the mood is good. I don't think the lads were too nervous or focused this week. It is important not to be too greedy or too hungry for this game, on the Monday or Tuesday.
'You don't want the flame burning out. You want it burning on Sunday.
'So for that, we tried to calm it down and build the focus.
'It is important to have a good balance between being motivated, because it is an important game, but realising what are the topics that will make us successful - our possession, our defensive behaviour.
'I have got a good feeling this week.
'It is not about the record in this fixture for me. If they had won the last derby - thankfully for me they didn't - I would still expect them to be highly motivated for this one. It was a brilliant feeling to win in Ipswich. Once you have had that you want more.'

Farke points to City's downturn after that Portman Road win as a cautionary tale.
'We had this unbelievable victory and then we played Arsenal in the cup but two or three weeks after we had two poor results and all that optimism and self-belief took a hit,' he said. 'All of our players know what this game means. Our performance at Derby was outstanding.
'We dominated the game for 75 minutes and that is why I said to draw 1-1 was ridiculous. Perhaps it is a sign of our really good shape. We are full of self-confidence.'
Farke has some late selection calls to make, with Ivo Pinto (knee) and Harrison Reed (back) minor concerns.
'I haven't taken the decision yet,' said Farke.
'Harry can play in many roles, he can play the holding midfielder, in the half position and in that right wing back role. I think he's been crucial in our last games and it shows his football intelligence.
'Ivo is our captain and our leader and we look forward to having him back at 100pc, but we have to be careful after his injury.'
