Our Norwich City correspondent Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries' 1-1 draw at Pride Park.

Here is Paddy's verdict on Daniel Farke's troops, who dented Derby's promotion push in a bizarre contest full of drama and incident.

• Angus Gunn

Speed and accuracy of Matej Vydra's strike was too hot to handle but thereafter a virtual spectator. 7.0

• Grant Hanley

No-nonsense. Consistently resolute. 7.0

• Christoph Zimmermann

Growing in confidence and not afraid to bark out the orders to more established team mates. 7.0

• Timm Klose

Broke up some Derby surges with well-timed tackles. 7.0

• Harrison Reed

Stuck to the task well after Derby's early fire subsided. Low cross carved out excellent Nelson Oliveira chance 7.0

• Alex Tettey

Scrapped and fought and covered plenty of ground in a new-look pairing with the accomplished Moritz Leitner. 7.0

• Moritz Leitner

Denied a goal on his full debut. Classy back heel in the build up the mark of his quality. Also the cushioned pass for James Maddison in the key first half moment. 8.0

• Jamal Lewis

Bombed on in the second period but Marcus Olsson escaped to set up Derby's opener. 7.0

• James Maddison

You simply can not keep the lad out of the action. Daniel Farke and Gary Rowett disagreed on the first half penalty incident with Scott Carson. Coolness personified to beat the Rams' keeper from the spot in the second period to silence the home fans. 8.5

• Nelson Oliveira

Eventful barely covers it. Early chance fired straight at Carson. The penalty was woeful but then earned the second half spot kick and was denied by Carson again at his near post. Lack of goals not down to a lack of effort. 7.0

• Josh Murphy

Oliveira should have squared to him inside the opening quarter. Looked to be upended in a first half penalty appeal that stood no chance in the aftermath of Oliveira's miss. Skied one 20-yard shot over in the second period. 6.5
