James Maddion's ninth goal of the season earned the Canaries their victory at Griffin Park, keeping them 13th in the Championship table but cutting the gap to the play-off places to eight points.
Ahead of the 11pm transfer deadline on Wednesday, attention now turns to whether City can keep hold of prized asset Maddison until the summer and whether any further business will be concluded.
