Todd Cantwell and Emi Buendia are both missing as Norwich City make two changes to their starting XI for this afternoon’s Championship clash with Bournemouth.
Cantwell’s absence comes on the same day that Leeds have been linked with a £15million bid for the Norfolk-born midfielder, with Whites’ manager Marcelo Bielsa refusing to shed any light on that reported interest following his team’s 1-0 win at Sheffield United earlier in the day.
Buendia missed the opening two games of the season through suspension and then missed last weekend’s 2-2 home draw with Preston with a badly bruised shin - although head coach Daniel Farke had said the Argentine was available for today’s game.
Farke had also spoken about the potential for the remaining days of the transfer window, open domestically until October 16, to have an impact on his selection during his pre-match press conference.
Lukas Rupp and Przemek Placheta come in for Cantwell and the injured Kieran Dowell, with Mario Vrancic and Josh Martin coming on to the bench.
The Canaries are without summer signing Dowell, who had ankle surgery this week and is out until January, joining full-back Sam Byram in the treatment until early 2021, who is recovering from hamstring surgery.
Club captain Grant Hanley has recovered from him own hamstring trouble but only returned to full training this week and looks unlikely to return to contention until after the October international break.
City won their Championship opener 1-0 at Huddersfield but had to fight back twice to draw 2-2 with Preston at home last Saturday, with Placheta scoring the second equaliser in the 85th minute.

The Cherries are already a much changed outfit from last season, with Eddie Howe leaving after his second spell in charge of the club came to an end after almost eight years in charge, after five seasons in the Premier League, with his assistant Jason Tindall promoted.
Star players Aaron Ramsdale, Nathan Ake, Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson have all left to remain in the top flight but the Cherries have made a bright start to the campaign.
They won their Championship opener 3-2 at home to Blackburn and knocked Crystal Palace out of the League Cup in the second round by winning a penalty shoot-out after a 0-0 home draw.
Their second league game was a 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough, conceding a late equaliser, and Tindall’s side were in action again on Thursday when they pushed a young Manchester City team hard in a 2-1 away defeat in the League Cup third round.
The hosts make three changes from their last league XI, with David Brooks not involved and Lloyd Kelly dropping out after being forced off during the first half of Thursday’s game with a hamstring problem. Junior Stanislas remains out with a thigh issue.
Diego Rico comes into defence in place of Kelly, Lewis Cook replaces Dan Gosling in midfield and Philip Billing replacing the highly-rated Brooks.
