Norwich City have given supporters an insight into life behind the scenes for Canaries players at the club's Colney Training Centre.

The cameras follow City skipper Russell Martin during a training day, showing the amount of physical and mental preparation that is put into training by players.

Nutrition, physiotherapy, gym work and recovery are all covered, including treatment in cryotherapy chambers at freezing temperatures following training.

The video also shows the individualised preparations created for players by City's sports science staff, to deal with specific fitness or injury issues.

Martin has made 37 appearances for the Canaries so far this season, completing every minute of the last 22 matches in all competitions.

The 31-year-old defender, in his eighth season with Norwich, spoke at a media event at Carrow Road yesterday ahead of Friday night's televised match against already promoted Brighton & Hove Albion.
