Norwich City manager Alex Neil has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month Award for the second consecutive month.

Neil won the February award having won all five matches during his first full month in charge at Carrow Road.

The 33-year-old Scot's continued success with the Canaries has now seen him nominated again, alongside Bournemouth's Eddie Howe, Charlton Athletic's Guy Luzon and Leeds United's Neil Redfearn.

A statement confirming Neil's nomination said: 'Neil steered his side to 11 points from six games in March, including a 2-0 win over local rivals Ipswich Town in the East Anglian derby. Has urged his players to play with a freedom that has kept them firmly in the hunt for automatic promotion.'

Nominated for the monthly player award is Watford striker Troy Deeney, Nottingham Forest winger Michail Antonio, Middlesbrough striker Patrick Bamford and Bournemouth defender Steve Cook.

The winners of both awards will be announced tomorrow.
