lex Neil is adamant Norwich City have been short-changed after their early Premier League tussles.
The Canaries head to Liverpool on Sunday above the Reds on goal difference after picking up seven points from their opening five league games.
Neil feels his side deserve more for a solid start to life back in the big time after last season's promotion success.
'I do think we should have more points and I have been saying that for a while,' he said.
'The Stoke game, if we had won that, we would have nine points on the board, which would give us a truer reflection of what we had done.
'We were a bit unfortunate against Crystal Palace as well but I think nine points would be a good gauge.'
Neil insists the top flight nous within his squad has smoothed the transition.

'We know what we are doing. We are well-drilled and we have good players who can carry the task out they are designated to do and they are prepared to work for the group,' he said.
'I think that has been the key to our success last year and the same so far this season.
'They haven't surprised me; if you look at the squad the majority have played in the Premier League before. There is very few who haven't so they have that experience and know what it entails to compete at that level.
'I think we also have enough experience through the group to bring the younger lads on and give them guidance going forward in their career.'
