North Walsham continue their battle against relegation from Division 1N tomorrow when they travel to play fifth placed Eton Manor.

Walsham's players suddenly appear more confident following their last two outings in which they have looked a much more cohesive unit.

The Vikings followed up a brave showing in defeat against high-flying Letchworth Garden City with a thumping 40-3 win over Old Colfeians which had the supporters feeling much more bullish about the trip to Eton Manor.

Walsham moved above Hammersmith & Fulham and out of the bottom two as a result of that timely triumph.

They will he hoping bottom club Braintree can do them a favour tomorrow by making home home advantage count against the West Londoners.

The Vikings squeaked a three point win against Eton Manor at Scottow earlier in the season but the North East London side has consistently maintained a presence in the top half of the table.

Coach Nick Greenhall has declared that he wants to stick with as many of last week's squad who are fit and able to travel as possible.

There is a doubt over prop Keith Fowles, who pulled a muscle in the pre-match warm-up last week but Robin Praat is on hand to fill the gap if required.

Greenhall will also have a couple more on stand-by to replace Leon Davies and Shane van Vuuren, who are both expecting to become parents at any time.

Chris Hamilton will most likely cover for Davies and Nick Austin could do the same for van Vuuren.

Easton College student Billy Graham-Park, who impressed when making his debut of the bench last week, should provide cover again.

The Vikings have a well earned week off before taking on Fakenham on March 17.

Diss will be looking for a third straight win when they travel to mid-table Ruislip tomorrow.

Phil Sharpe's side have bounced back from a poor run at the start of the year in some style, beating Chingford and Eton Manor at Mackenders without so much as conceding a try.

The challenge now is to replicate that sort of the form on the road against a side they beat 21-15 earlier in the season.

The two recent wins have consolidated fourth place in the league, and although a top two finish is probably out of reach Sharpe's men will still be looking to finish a promising campaign on a high.
