Nick Greenhall will tell North Walsham to keep their discipline when they play struggling Woodford tomorrow.

The Vikings suffered a heavy defeat at home to Colchester last weekend and there is little doubt that coach Greenhall's match video analysis will have emphasised the damage caused by the high penalty count, along with a yellow card: three of Colchester's tries came in the 10 minutes when Walsham were down to 14.

On the positive side Greenhall was pleased with the quality of the tries, that gained a losing bonus point.

There are injury worries; several players were struggling by the end of the game, including James Knight, Ryan Oakes, Chris Godwin, Matt Oakes, Aki Downing and Tim Weber.

Toby Salmon is unavailable as is outside half David Treglown, for six weeks.

His loss will be somewhat mitigated by the return of Henry Dewing, now available on a regular basis, and that of stalwart Chris Borrett who, having taken his usual short break after the cricket season, returned to training last week.

Borrett usually looks for two or three weeks to get back to full fitness but, depending on the injury situation, could be thrown straight back into action.

Pena Sokia, having been advised not to play last weekend because of a suspected broken nose, could return to the back row and there could be a second start for Ashley Speight, who has impressed since joining at the start of the season

Bottom side Woodford have struggled for most of last season, only clawing their way out of the relegation zone in the final few weeks, but have had an horrendous start this time around.

Their six games to date, all played away due to remedial work on their main pitch, have resulted in defeat, the latest a 103-0 hammering at Letchworth.

Greenhall will no doubt point out that the Vikings have been known to under-perform against strugglers.
