Norman Wanderers will be looking to complete a league and cup double when they take on Schoolhouse FC in the Sunday League Cup final at the FDC on Friday evening (kick-off 7.30pm).
Division 1A champions, Wanderers started their journey to the final back in December when they recorded a 2-0 victory over Trimingham Pilgrims, whilst Premier Division side Schoolhouse defeated Salhouse Rovers.
The second round again saw Wanderers progress with a 2-0 win, this time at Premier Division Farmhouse and Schoolhouse scored six without reply at home to Aslacton & Gt Moulton.
Normans then beat Acle Rangers on penalties after a 3-3 draw and Schoolhouse reached the semi-finals by beating The Middle Green 7-3.
The semi-finals again saw drama for Normans as they scored a late winner in extra time to beat DE FC 3-2 whilst the Schoolhouse goal scoring machine saw them put eight past a gallant Vale Longo.
