Norwich City II followed up their 11-0 win at Watton with a 6-1 thrashng of Pelicans II to go clear at the top of the Marshall Motor Norfolk League's Premier Division.

At half-time it looked as though they might even have hit double figures for a second successive game as they led 5-0.

Amber Sayers opened the floodgates with the first two goals and Rebecca Green sidestepped the keeper to claim the third after centre-back Dani Garwood had walloped a long ball from the back.

Green set up the fourth for Lauren Lawrie, who in turn provided the cross for Emily Francis to complete the half-time tally.

The second half was tougher. City remained camped in the Pelicans final quarter but couldn't breach the goal line until Sarah Shelley used her individual skill to make it 6-0. Pelicans added a consolation goal near the end.

Harleston 4ths and Dereham 2nds fell two points behind City 2nds after drawing 0-0 – Dereham have yet to concede a goal in four games.

But Harleston 3rds thrashed Norwich City 3rds 8-0 to move up to fifth. Immy Ray and Annabel Kennard both made solid debuts for City.

Thetford are sixth after beating Diss 2-0. From the push back Diss played some flowing hockey with captain for the day Gaby Rolingson creating several chances.

Emily Pursehouse, Sam Howard, Lucy Kershaw and Tanya Chenery all forced saves before Thetford broke to go ahead just before half time.

Thetford grew in confidence as a result with Burton needing to make a couple of saves before the hosts scored from another breakaway.

Dereham 3rds are third after a 4-2 win at Lowestoft Railway.

In Division One Norwich Dragons 3rds and Sprowston 2nds are neck and neck both having won three games out of three. This week Dragons beat Evergreens 2nds 3-0 while Sprowston thrashed Reepham 5-0.

Broadland II shared the spoils with UEA II in a 2-2 draw. An early goal from Broadland's captain Nikki Kent looked to have set Broadland on their way. UEA fought back to equalise, only for Nikki Kent to put Broadland back in front, but the students had the final say.

Norwich Dragons 4ths maintained their perfect record in Division Two with a 2-1 win at Norwich City 6ths, whose goal was scored by Jane Steward.

Breckland are second after a 2-1 win at Norwich City 4ths (Holly Robinson) while Harleston 6ths and Loddon 2nds remain unbeaten after wins over Hornets (5-1) and Lowestoft Railway 2nds respectively.

Sprowston's newly formed third team clocked up their first win in some style with goals by Amelia Long, Hanna Read, Sharon Weeks and Nicole Rijks, plus two 'own goals' beating Old Buckenham II 6-0.
