After eight attempts Diss finally secured their first Norfolk Ladies League Premier Division win of the season when they beat Watton 2nds 3-0.

They showed their resolve from the start and were ahead after ten minutes when Lucy Kershaw's pass from a short corner was well controlled by Sam Howard, who got the ball over the line after having a couple of shots blocked.

Within five minutes it was it 2-0 when a through ball by Gaby Rolingson caused confusion in the Watton defence, leaving Tasha Blakeley to sweep home for her first goal of the season.

Watton had a good spell in the second half and had a goal disallowed but Diss wrapped up the points when Rolingson scored following a short corner.

At the top of the table Harleston Magpies 3rds continue to lead the way after an 8-0 win at Beccles while UEA are second after beating Dereham 2nds 2-0.

Dereham 3rds won 2-0 at Norwich City 3rds with both goals coming early on. By the time City had begun to put their game together – with Joy Andrews giving a great performance in her first outing in midfield – it was too late.

Norwich City 2nds won 6-0 at Evergreens with goals from Sarah Circuit, Rebecca Green, Amber Sayers (two), Lauren Lawrie and Sarah Shelley.

Norwich Dragons 3rds maintained their perfect Division One record with an 8-0 away win over Norwich City 5ths. They scored four in each half with Caroline Wolfe, Hazel Sumner, Amy Brown and Mel Widdows on target in the first.

That was ominous for City as Dragons have been a second half team for most of this season.

And sure enough it continued to be one way traffic with further goals from Wolfe, Sumner, Isi Christophers and Emma Moolman. Dragons keeper Amy Forse hardly touched the ball.

A half-time change of goalkeepers resulted in Dereham 5ths coming back to gain a 1-1 draw at Reepham after trailing at the interval to a well-taken goal from Kelly Page, who instead of shooting from a short corner weaved her way through the defence to beat the keeper.

Carolyn Duthie scored the only goal of Broadland 2nds' home game against North Walsham 2nds with the last hit of the first half – connecting with a powerful and perfectly placed effort from Becky Savory.

Norwich Dragons 4ths maintained their 100pc Division Two record with a 3-0 win over Hornets. Scarlett Brown scored the first and had a shot deflected in for the second while the third fell to midfielder Holly Francis.

Breckland are second after a 3-1 win over Old Buckenham 2nds.

Norwich Dragons 5ths won 1-0 at Loddon 2nds with Lois McGregor ending a three-player move in style. Julie Elwin, playing keeper for the first time, was equal to everything thrown her way.
