Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has paid tribute to a group of Norfolk footballers who've helped him work towards his coaching badges in America.
The former England international – training for his UEFA A coaching licence – thanked Dereham Education and Soccer Academy (DESA) for staying behind after playing against one of his club LA Galaxy's youth teams so he could practice his coaching.
DESA, who have close link to Dereham's non-league football team, lost the game 3-2 before rubbing shoulders with Gerrard and two of his illustrious team-mates, Ashley Cole and Giovani dos Santos.
In the video he says: 'I'd just like to say a huge thank you to everyone connected to DESA football club.'
