Bob Carter are through to the Norwich Cup final after beating Wymondham in both legs of their semi-final clash. The first leg was at Wymondham where the home side were hoping to build themselves a lead to take to Drayton for the second leg, but it was not to be. It was Bob Carter who won on the night, 9-7 on points.

In the second leg the first session of triples was shared, but Carter then won both pairs games to move 15-9 ahead on aggregate. Carter then made sure of their place in the final against Connaught A by winning both second-half triples games, leaving them winners by 15-9 on aggregate.

City of Norwich League leaders Horsford BC were without a match, but their massive lead at the top means they won't be looking over their shoulders with much anxiety. Second-placed Horsford Heroes won 10-4 at Framingham Earl, but are 29 points behind and have played three more games. It was a week of mixed results for Costessey who won 12-2 at home to Framingham Earl but lost 10-4 at First Bus. Joining them in that category were Sprowston who romped to a 14-0 home win against Windows but lost 10-4 at Thorpe Marriott.

The NCSMBA Management Committee met to appoint a new Norfolk County team manager following the earlier announcement that Selwyn Goldsmith will not re-stand for the position once his current two-year term finishes at the end of March.

The Committee unanimously voted to appoint Simon Willies of East Tuddenham from April 1, with Keith Cooke of Halvergate as assistant manager.

The snow caused all ESMBA ICC semi-finals to be cancelled at the weekend and Norfolk Premier will now play Dorset Premier this Sunday at Daventry instead.
