Halvergate continued their impressive form in the Bure League winning 8-2 at Hevingham.

In the first half Donna Lamb, Josh Baxter & Jason Woods beat Steve Hall's triple 16-10 while David Knights, Nigel Willard & Simon Warnes scored an impressive 17-6 win against Alan Bunn's triple.

Halvergate scored another big win in the second half as Ray Lamb, Steven Lamb & Morgan Warnes beat Maurice Kemp's triple 24-5. Hevingham's only win of the night was achieved by Betty Cox, Joyce Vincent & David Sharpe who will be delighted with a 21-7 win against Mike Tate, Robbie Lamb & David Lamb.

East Tuddenham kept their title ambitions on course with a 10-0 home win against Windows. The first half saw Rob Howlett's triple beat Andy Drummee 19-13 while Chris Mann's triple beat Avril Walker 14-11.

East Tuddenham wrapped up their maximum win in the second half as Gary Best's triple won 18-9 and Simon Willies won 22-13. Windows also went down 8-2 at Woodbastwick where Margaret Capps, Lianne Mills & Margaret Harman beat Mick Boswell's triple 20-11. A super performance by Pat Williamson, Pat Hall & Steve Hall earned Hevingham a 6-4 away win at Horsford BC. They racked up a 17-6 win against Malcolm Makins' triple to ensure Hevingham won by six shots to earn the match points.

After so long without a win in the Tens League Connaught reeled off their second victory in a week beating Hevingham 3-0. Di Quadling & Sylvia Parsons scored valuable shots in the opening pairs game beating Betty Cox & David Sharpe 19-8, so despite Joe LiRocchi's triple losing by 14-13 against Gill Bunn, Chris Brooks & Alan Bunn, Connaught went into the break 10 shots to the good.

Connaught's domination in the pairs continued with a 15-12 win for Elaine & Bob Oatway against Pat Williamson & Steve Hall so the final triples game which was drawn 11-11 left Connaught celebrating a 3-0 home win.

In the SNL Saxlingham scored a surprise 6-4 home win against second-placed Hingham. Both teams won two games apiece but Saxlingham scored 52 shots against Hingham's 48 to earn the two match points. Saxlingham's wins were scored by Alice Payne, Don Linford & Geoff Payne with a 13-9 win and Pat Meale, Peter Cook & Geoff Briggs with a 20-10 win.

Saxlingham Nethergate also won 6-4 at Shropham where Pat Meale, G Moore & Geoff Briggs beat Mike Godbold's triple 22-8 to see Saxlingham over the finishing line. Connaught beat Wreningham 8-2 with their biggest win an 18-8 result for Mike Marlow, Mike Smail & Mike Minshull. A 14-0 home win for Horsford BC against Jarrolds put them an incredible 70 points clear of second-placed Horsford Heroes in the City of Norwich League.

Connaught A went down by 63 shots at Wymondham in the first leg of their Breckland five Pairs tie.

Next weekend the SMPT English Masters takes place in Chelmsford where a big name from the past makes a return. All eyes will be on Steve McAlister, who has five ESMBA National Championship titles to his name, as well as an Irish National Pairs title. Norfolk players taking part are Wymondham's Chris Mann, Jack Pye, John Jeffery and Debbie Pye, Horsford's Simon Warnes, Connaught's Jack Marshall, Hingham's Andy Sindle and Hempnall's Neil Davidson. Meanwhile a contingent of Norfolk bowlers will be taking part in Potter's Aphrodite Triples in Cyprus as well as playing friendlies against Cypriot teams.
