Dereham Town came back from the brink to book their place in the Norfolk Senior Cup semi-finals with a 3-2 at Wroxham.

The underdogs got their noses in front on 65 minutes through substitute Marcus Wilkinson and looked set it win it in 90 minutes before Jake Anema equalised right on time.

Payton Swatman put the Yachstmen ahead again early in extra-time with a brilliant free-kick, only for the Magpies to equalise almost immediately through Ryan Crisp before Jamie Forshaw had the final say.

Norwich United also joined Downham Town and Wymondham Town in the last four when they beat King’s Lynn’s second string 5-0 at Plantation Park. The hosts effectively sealed progress in the first half, with goals from Liam Jackon (13, 44) and Adam Hipperson (27,39) making it 4-0 and Jackson added his second on 76 minutes to complete the rout.

In the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division Great Yarmouth Town recorded an excellent win at leaders Felixstowe, with Kieran Hagan scoring their second half winner.
