County teams from around Great Britain are set to compete at Cromer Lawn Tennis & Squash Club next week.
The Norfolk men's team will attempt to get back into the top tier of county tennis during the Aegon Summer County Cup, which is being held over five days from Monday.
Now in Group Two out of seven, Norfolk's men will be looking for a good start to the week against a Berkshire team they beat in the winter indoor version of the event.
Other noticeable ties during the week are a local derby against Suffolk on the Tuesday and a fixture against Yorkshire, who also came down from Group One with them last year.
After a series of impressive years which has seen the side go from Group Six up to the top division at Eastbourne, captain Barry Fulcher and his men are eager to get back to the top.
Having had two good friendly matches against Cambridge University and Essex, the men's team is in good shape for what is a challenging week of nine rubbers in total, with each pair playing three matches per day.
Fulcher has named a familiar looking squad for the all doubles event, with Norfolk's two former Davis Cup and Wimbledon players, Richard Bloomfield and James Auckland, both turning out during the week alongside the experienced Tom Spinks, Nicky Crawley and Dan Wynne.
There will also be a debut for local Cromer player Tom Fisher, who will add some youth to an ageing squad.
Play starts daily Monday to Friday at 11am and is free for spectators.
Meanwhile, Norfolk's ladies will be competing in Havant in Group Two. They will face teams from Surrey, Lancashire, Hampshire & Isle of Wight, Yorkshire and Berkshire during the five-day event.
The team, consisting of Amy Partridge, Karen Highfield, Lucy Brooks, Olivia Nicholls, Maddie Brooks, Pippa Horn and Sam Noble, will be looking to gain promotion to the top group, having narrowly missed out on promotion last year.
Partridge and Nicholls have been playing university tennis in the UK and Horn has been studying in Texas in the USA and is back for the summer. Brooks will captain the team, with Highfield acting as her assistant.
