Norfolk Futsal referee Tim Sadler has been selected to a team of four officials to officiate at the Women's FA National play-off finals in Birmingham next weekend.
It's been a swift rise to the top for Sadler, who first became involved in Futsal refereeing in 2013. With help from Norfolk FA and the FA, he began refereeing in the County 5IVES Futsal league at the UEA Sportspark and was able to begin officiating in fixtures for the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues. Through this he received his first appointment for the FA National League and has since decided to specialise in Futsal officiating.
'Through refereeing in the County 5IVES and BUCS leagues I received my first national appointment and I've not looked back since,' he said. 'I'm still a little shocked, but I'm delighted with such a great appointment after only just completing my second full season in the FA National League.'
