It proved to be an excellent weekend for Norfolk as they won three games out of three against Essex.

Norfolk Premier are unbeaten in the I.C.C this season and a visit to Essex always proves to be a tough task but they recovered from a disappointing start to win 21-19.

In the triples Kerry Greenacre, Debbie Sparham & Keith Cooke opened with a 13-7 win and finished with a 20-12 win against Nigel Reed's triple. Maximum points were also earned by Robin Amos, Andy Sindle, John Turner & Melvin Woods with wins of 9-6 & 17-8. Wymondham's Jack Pye fought back to earn a 13-13 draw against Dom Reed in the singles before beating Mitchell Young 15-10.

Norfolk Premier have one game left to play in the group stages away to Kent and will travel with confidence after five straight wins.

Norfolk A had a poor start to the season but have pulled themselves back in contention after a solid 25-15 win away to Essex A. Halvergate's Robbie Lamb put in another valuable shift in the singles with wins of 13-10 and 16-7 while young Ryan Fox & Colin Coman won their pairs games in brilliant style 17-5 and 20-8. Fox is playing with a maturity way beyond his years. In the fours Jean Woods, Steve Easter, Jack Marshall & Steve Hall also impressed with wins of 12-9 and 15-8. Norfolk A now go into their last group game away to Suffolk with a real chance of making it into the knock-out stages. On the previous day Norfolk entertained Essex B at Hingham and blew their opponents out of the water, winning by 37-3. Of the 20 triples games played Essex managed just a 7-6 win in the second session where they also drew a game 7-7. Aside from that it was one-way traffic. Angela Bond, Andy Sindle, Ryan Fox, Steve Hall, Elaine Willies & Steve Easter were all presented with their NCSMBA Squad plaques which are awarded to bowlers completing their third match for Norfolk.

A thumping 17-1 home win against Hemsby Harvesters leaves Bradwell Dynamos sitting pretty at the top of the Coastal League while it signalled five defeats in a row for the Hemsby side.

Second in the table are Hemsby Beachcombers who won 16-2 at Bradwell Robins. Woodbastwick Eagles are third after winning 13-5 at home to Martham.

It's tight at the top of the Waveney League but Broome have their noses in front after a 7.5–1.5 home win against Bradwell. Wortwell are now the only unbeaten team after winning 7-2 at home to Carlton and have a game in hand over the top two. Kessingland finally won a game at the fourth attempt beating Earsham 6-3 while Haddiscoe did likewise beating Ilketshall 7-2.

In the Breckland League Carleton Rode beat league leaders Connaught A 7-3 but the dangerous spectre of Wymondham looms menacingly behind them both with a match in hand.

In the SNL life continues as normal with Hempnall collecting a 10-0 maximum win against Shropham. Kerry Greenacre, David Blundell & Rob Cranston won 37-5 with Colin Stevenson, Gerald Chilvers & Neil Davidson adding a 15-5 win.

Bure League action saw Thorpe Marriott win 8-2 at home to Horsford BC. George Clarke's triple scored five shots on the last end of their game to snatch a 13-11 win. Halvergate beat Hevingham 8-2 with Keith Cooke's triple winning 26-7.

Connaught A cruised into the next round of the Norwich Cup beating Sprowston 12-0 with a session to spare. Owen Secker's triple won 11-3 and 12-4 while Sheila Bragg's triple won 7-4 and 10-8.

In the City League Thorpe Marriott beat Taverham 14-0 while Deaf Sports beat Jarrolds 12-2.
