Norfolk golfers Amelia Williamson and Amy Taylor have helped England to international successes.
Williamson was girls' captain as England took on Wales at Luffenham Heath.
In the morning foursomes, playing with Rafiah Banday from Middlesex, she secured a half against Ffion Evans and Carys Worby and in the afternoon singles beat Carys Worby 4&2 as the girls won 4-2. Combined match score was England 11½ Wales 6½.
In a schools' international against Scotland at Troon Darley (boys) and Lochgreen (girls), girls' captain Amelia and Bawburgh's Taylor were instrumental in ensuring a win for England. In the morning foursomes they led the way by winning 3&1, although England lost the other girls' matches 4&3 and 2&1. In the afternoon singles Amelia won 7&6 against Anna McKay and Amy won 4&2 against Lorna McClymont. England won the girls' match 7-2 with a 6-0 scoreline in the singles.
