Norfolk Lions tee up title decider at Manor Park

Norfolk set up a title decider after beating Cambridgeshire in the East of England Development competition.

The Lions, with six points from four games, face Bedfordshire, who have seven, at Manor Park next Tuesday, in a winner takes all clash.

While the leaders were beating Suffolk, Norfolk were despatching Cambridgeshire at Saffron Walden. The hosts recovered from 29 for five to 182 from 48.5 overs, with Tom Nudd taking 3-25 and Joe Everett 3-29 before, in a chase reduced to 35 overs owing to poor light, Norfolk replied with 139 for five from 33.4 overs. John Ewart made an unbeaten 96 as Norfolk reached their revised target with eight balls to spare.
