Martham's grip on the Norfolk League title race strengthened as they beat Cringleford by 62 runs after compiling 288-5 while closest rivals Great Yarmouth and East Harling both lost. Ketteringham Hall were also in form with the bat as Mark Smith (112) and Chris Butler (80) helped them to make 285-2 on their way to beating Norwich Bystanders by 131 runs.
There was a thriller in Division Two, where leaders Belton were beaten by one wicket at St Andrews, whose Jack Belton helped sink his namesake team by seeing Saints over the line with 28 not out after Stuart Warminger had made 71.
Blundeston continue to lead the way in Division Three after a 30-run win over Rackheath and there were some notable bowling performances in Division Four with Saham Toney A's Steve Huckle taking 7-10 to skittle Norwich Bystanders A for 45 – that after Bystanders' Paul Eastick took 6-28. Jack Peart took 5-12 for leaders Garboldisham B as Great Yarmouth A were shot out for 69.
Julian Dismore made a magnificent 134 not out in Felthorpe's Division Five 141-run win over Lowestoft B, putting on 162 for the first wicket with Alex Hamilton (76) in a total of 265-5. There was also a century for Rocklands A's Ade Evans (107no) against Brisley in Division Six, where Gillingham's Graham Brown was run out one short of his century against Horsford C.
