After the excellent playing conditions on Saturday day two was an altogether different affair, with the weather closing in, resulting in constant drizzle and some sea fret for the morning semi-finals.
Flesher and Rix took on the Robsons with Long and Reid playing Patterson and Howett. Both matches ended with convincing wins, 4&2 for both Flesher and Rix and Patterson and Howett. In the second flight matches Webb and Tanner beat Cullington and Heywood at the second extra hole while Fordham and Thompson beat Goddard and Hindle at the first extra hole.

The afternoon gave some respite from the weather and some fantastic golf was played in the very best of spirit. However, there can only be one winner and for the 2018 Championships that honour was earned by Flesher and Rix. After going three holes down early and then fighting back to get to all square they needed an extra hole to see off Patterson and Howett.
In the Salvers Webb and Tanner were down on the front nine before bringing it back to all square and eventually seeing off Fordham and Thompson 3&1 at the 17th hole.
