King's Lynn's Brad Newman and Watlington's Stevo Carter feature on the upcoming 'Fists of Fury' boxing card on May 14 which will herald the launch of the new 'fightnightlive' internet television channel - the brainchild of King's Lynn's ex-European and British champion Dell Mann.

Newman will face Scotland's Stevie Boyd with Carter drawn against Matthew Keirn in three two minute rounds on the show at the Pyramids Centre in Southsea, Portsmouth.

The 16-fight show also features an eight-man 'Prizefighter' style tournament and two British title fights. (start time 7pm)

Norfolk's former European and British lightweight boxing champion Jon Thaxton is scheduled to be in Norfolk's ex-world kickboxing champion Gary Briggs' corner when the Norfolk fighter takes part in the 'Prizefight' event.

Fight fans unable to travel to the south coast can watch all the action live in a four-hour internet broadcast available for a flat-rate 3 fee. To subscribe and for further information visit wcbc.co.uk and follow the instructions.

Mann has also linked up with the Double G sportswear clothing firm who will provide branded clothing on fight night.
