New champions Happisburgh suffered a celebration hangover as they slipped to their first defeat of the season against Great Yarmouth.

However the runners-up spot is between Belton and Felthorpe, who won at Cringleford Lodge, despite the efforts of Jacob Merill who grabbed 6-34.

In the basement battle, Kirkley's Duncan Snell scored an unbeaten 74 but East Harling triumphed with Matthew Jubb scoring 63* in their reply.

Division Two morning leaders Saxlingham were blown away by St Andrews as they were bowled out for just 95, Andy Bailey getting 5-17. Earlier Joe Lewis had taken 5-27 in St Andrews' 204 all out.

This allowed Eaton to take over top spot as they overcame Bystanders with contributions from Sam Butcher (55), Matt Duke (54) and Luke Billington (5-29).

Drayton are just nine points behind in third as they were indebted to Kalpesh's all-round performance of 99 and 6-15, as they thumped Garboldisham B. With only one team going up, the championship race will go to the wire.

Elsewhere, Paul Sprong scored 120* and Terry Briggs took 4-22 in their win over relegated Costessey.

Division 3E leaders Overstrand suffered a surprise reverse at Felthorpe A, despite Steve Munday's 6-27 haul. However, Ashmanhaugh & Barton Wanderers B took over second spot after dismissing Gillingham for 86.

Jim Bullimore took 5-16 as Aylsham St Giles beat Frettenham and Dave Fuller's 89 was not enough for Bungay as Joe Smart took 5-35 for Winterton A, as they won by seven runs. Earlier, Jos and Devon Brannigan scored 55 and 62 apiece for Winterton A.

Division 3W saw Rackheath overcome Hethersett & Tas Valley B with Rich Holmes 88* and Phil Banham 5-40, and 17-year-old Oli Hall scored 118* for North Elmham in their win over Great Melton C.

Division 4E sees undefeated Halvergate marching on. Martham won against Happisburgh with contributions from Archie Smith (82), and Mike Smith (66), and Acle B's 14-year-olds Alex Quinton scored 101* and Adam Webster took 4-10 as they overcame Winterton B.

In Division 4W, Jon Wyatt scored 137* and Eddie Thorne helped himself to 99 as they piled up the runs against Ketteringham Hall A, for whom Jon Webb scored 91.

New Buckenham were indebted to Nigel Frame's half-century and Varghese's 6-18 in their game against Sprowston C. There were also half-centuries for Cawley for Colney, and Billings for Great Ellingham.

Division 5E leaders Southwold remain unbeaten as they thrashed Hethersett & Tas Valley C by 10 wickets, Alex Britten leading the victory charge with 83* after Ed Garrard took 4-7, earlier Stuart Cooper scored 81* for Tas.

In Division 5W, Beeston A's Marcus English scored 111 and took 4-12 in their win over North Elmham A for whom Jack George scored 54 and Phil Bend took 4-33.

Elsewhere Paul Fuller scored a century for Dereham in their match against Mundford.
