Downham Town's lead at the top of the Norfolk Alliance Premier Division has been extended to 23 points after a shock defeat for title rivals Fakenham.
Adam Todd took four wickets for 15 runs for Downham as they won by six wickets at Diss, bowling the home side out for 160 before reaching 166 with three wickets to spare.
But that win took on added significance when second-placed Fakenham lost at bottom-of-the-table Lowestoft Town. An inspired performance from Lowestoft saw Marcus Bishop take five wickets for 43 runs as Fakenham were bowled out for 187 before the home side reached 188-6, with Tom Brice top scoring with 54.
That victory moved Lowestoft off the foot of the table and a point ahead of Sprowston, who lost by four wickets at Swardeston A.
Sprowston were all out for 165 and Swardeston charged to 166-6, with 76 from Rob O'Donnell chiefly responsible.
Stow continue to pull clear at the top of Division One after a home victory against Bradfield. The visitors reached 182-7, with Dave Yarham top scoring with 72, but the league leaders reached 186-6 to claim the spoils. That moves Stow 44 points clear at the division's summit, as the points were shared when second-placed Brooke hosted third-placed Mattishall.
The visitors were all out for 199 and Brooke reached 185-6 in their innings, to see 12 points go to each team.
Excellent knocks of 77 from Richard Charlwood and 56 from Tom Davies proved to be in vain for Cromer, helping to score 197-8 at Old Buckenham, but seeing the home side reach 201-4. Elsewhere in Division One there were good away win for both Horsford A and Acle.
Matthew Wilkinson scored 60 for Horsford A as they scored 179-6 at Garboldisham, before bowling out the home side for 172.
While Peter Nobbs hit 58 for Acle as they successfully chased down the target of 147 set by the home side, reaching 148-4 to take 20 league points.
Topcroft were also dominant at struggling Great Melton, scoring 170-8 before bowling out the home side for 150.
Patrick Dewing put in the star performance in Division Two, scoring an unbeaten 101 as Bradenham won at Downham A.
Bradenham lost the toss and were asked to bat before seeing openers Mike Taylor and Peter Hills both depart for single figure scores and at 13-2.
However Jonny Bidewell and Dewing steadied the ship and then started punishing the bad balls that came their way in an 81-run partnership before Bidewell was caught behind one short of his half century.
Chad Balluza was run out but Will Dewing joined his father and between them put on another 53 runs before the younger Dewing was bowled for 26 and Bradenham were 157-5 with 10 overs remaining.
Dewing senior went on to reach his century with a lofted drive for four from the penultimate delivery of the innings as Bradenham finished on 219-8.
Dewing junior then returned to the spotlight with the ball, taking four wickets for 51 runs as Downham eventually fell 17 runs short, with Bradenham surviving four balls against the last Downham batsman.
Dereham remain top of Division Two after an exciting win at Saham Toney, who had been bowled out for 98. The visitors did reach 101 for the win, but lost eight wickets in the process to make for a nervy finish.
Thetford remain top of Division Three despite losing at home against Old Buckenham A. Thetford were bowled out for 133 and 82 from Ben Askew then led the way as Old Bucks reached 139-3.
North Runcton A lost to a dominant Swaffham. Jordon Lown top scored with 56 as Swaffham scored 191-9, with Darren Cubitt taking 4-32 for Runcton.
But Matthew Smith took 4-35 for Swaffham as the visitors were bowled out for 130.
