NORFOLK CIBA: With Acle A playing in the Denny Cup this weekend, North Walsham A have now taken over at the top of Division One of the Norfolk CIBA County League.

Winning on all rinks at home to Wymondham A they won by 100 shots to 46, with the rink skipped by M Christmas top scoring 30-10.

Norfolk BC A have moved into third place in the league after they won a close game at Lakeside A 83-80, Bernie Perrett's rink winning 29-10.

Diss A maintain their position at the top of Division Two, following their win at home to Roundwood A, 105-66, E Oxer's rink top scoring 29-12.

Browston A are close on their heels after they beat Acle B 83-66, Vic Moore's rink winning 23-14. Previously unbeaten Hunstanton lost at home to Lynnsport 81-66, with Stephen Winter's rink winning 22-15, to move Lynnsport into third place in the table.

County Arts B are the new leaders in Division Three following their win at home to Pinewood Park B by 110-73, their rink skipped by J Watkins winning 31-16. Pentney A are now second after they beat Lakeside B at home 105-56, R Saxton's rink winning 35-11.

In Division Four, Wymondham B are up to second place after they beat County Arts C at home 106-45, John Hardy's rink top scoring 29-8.

The only match in Division Five, saw Shotford B beat Wymondham C in the closest match of the day, 78-77, top rink honours being shared by the Shotford rink skipped by K Joad 22-11 and the Wymondham rink skipped by V Garrod 25-14.

In round four of the Denny Cup, Acle beat Barking 82-49 and will now play Kingsthorpe in the next round on Saturday, December 18. Gallow's game in the Denny Cup and Pinewood Park's game in the Denny Plate were both victims of the weather and will be re-arranged on a new date.
