Stow recorded their first Premier Division win of the season as they eased to a seven-wicket triumph against Old Buckenham on Saturday.

Half-centuries from Warren Bowman (70) and South African Luandre Van Wyk (91no) saw Stow home with 16 balls remaining, after Australian Paul Donovan (129) had continued his impressive form for Bucks.

Norwich extended their lead at the top to 10 points as they beat North Runcton by 16 runs at Postwick.

Runcton's last wicket pair needed one run from the last three balls to secure a 90pc losing draw – but last man Darren Faivelowitz was bowled by Norwich's stand-in skipper Ashley Watson to secure a dramatic win for the hosts. Ben Flanagan (four for 26) was Norwich's leading bowler.

Fakenham were restricted to a winning draw at Diss after being denied by the hosts' last wicket pair. Earlier, Diss' Mark Williamson, pictured, took five for 32.

Sprowston beat Lowestoft by five wickets, with two wickets each for Andy Hanby, Geoff Roff and Rob Purton, before Purton (41) and Simon Chipperfield (43no) led the victory chase.

Downham piled on the misery for bottom side Acle in a seven-wicket win, with Alex Stuart hitting 68, while Vauxhall Mallards A won by eight wickets at Ashmanhaugh & Barton Wanderers, who slip into the bottom two.

Newcomers Dereham moved to the top of Division One with a winning draw at Swardeston A.

David Lake made an unbeaten 112 for Dereham, with Swardeston's Dale Reynolds taking three for 36. Ben Shearing hit 76no in the hosts' reply, with Jake Anema claiming three for 50.

Half-centuries from Cameron Brown (63) and Jason Cole (80no) helped Mattishall secure a three-wicket derby win against Bradenham. Kevin Stagles (63) and Mark Hunter (54) top scored for Bradenham.

Cromer topped 300 at home to Bradfield, with big contributions from Tom Davies (113no), Chris Carey (77) and Peter Gascoigne (51), before wrapping up a convincing 209-run victory.

Brooke beat morning leaders Horsford A by three wickets.

Tom Nudd (three for 13) and John Habershon (three for 46) helped restrict the Horsford batsmen before Richard Timm (42) and John Reynolds – who hit four sixes in a quickfire 40no – saw Brooke home.

Topcroft registered their first win of the season as they crushed Norwich A by nine wickets.

In Division Two, Aaron Nichol fired 110no for Downham A in an 83-run win over Saham Toney. Peter Barnard took five for 30 to complete the job for Downham.

Richard Porter scored 109no for Beccles, but they were held to a winning draw at Hethersett & Tas Valley as Robbie Matthews (72) led the hosts' reply.

Richard Wood hit 83 as Great Melton secured a winning draw at Swardeston B, with Matt Hogg (41) the top scorer for the hosts.

Hales & Loddon, who have been hit by a 25-point penalty relating to their outfield last season, remain bottom after a nine-wicket humbling at Fakenham A. Adam Woodhouse made 54 for the hosts.
