Norfolk have added Horsford opening bowler Michael Warnes to the squad for their second MCCA Knockout Trophy match, against Berkshire on Sunday.
Warnes is part of the 12-man squad which will travel to Falkland Cricket Club in Newbury and could be in line for his full county debut if Norfolk choose to bolster their seam attack.
Norfolk lost their opening match, at home to Cambridgeshire, by four wickets on Sunday and another defeat could spell the end of their hopes of qualification for the quarter-finals.
