King's Lynn Stars' Niels-Kristian Iversen was unable to prevent Sweden from snatching the Speedway World Cup from hosts and holders Denmark.
With Australia and Poland out of contention, the Danes had a four-point lead going into the final two heats, but another Lynn rider, Kenneth Bjerre, suffered a retirement before Iversen was excluded, leaving Sweden to mop up for victory by a two-point margin.
Sweden finished on 34 points, Denmark on 32, Poland on 27 and Australia on 26. Great Britain missed out on a place in the final after failing to come through the race-off on Thursday.
